History
Schoen was formed in 2003 with Chris and Nicole fronting the group. Our goal is to provide quality entertainment to a large demographic. Picking songs to cover is a huge part of our job. We make sure to pick music we can play well and people will enjoy. "Less talk, more ROCK!" is a moto we like to use. We keep the music coming hit after hit after hit. We love when people get up out of their seats, have fun, and keep dancing!
Our live show is electric from the first note. You won't hear any snoozers at our show. We focus on energy and pulse. The two necessities for a great party!
We play a great mix of old and new tunes to keep the party going. Drawing on songs from Janis Joplin, AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Steve Miller , Journey, Brian Adams, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles and many more top artists.
We cater to any type of event, including, backyard parties, birthdays, stag and doe's, weddings, fundraisers, work parties, dances and anywhere you need top quality musical entertainment.
Our lineup consists of these fine musicians.
Nicole : Vocals and Keys
I play a Roland Fp-2 which was my first gigging Piano. As of right now my favourite artist is Rural Alberta Advantage, but back in the day it was Ace of Base all the Way! I have so many favourite songs from Space Truckin to My Sharona (purely for my flawless air guitar Solo!) Also, Love Is by Alannah Myles. The best concert I have been to was Big Wreck at Hamilton Place, Amazing! I love chowing down on mango salsa and chips washed down with a good ol' bottle of beer. If I could play with any musician I would pick Melissa Ethridge. She absolutely tears it up.
Chris : Guitar and Vocals
I play a Godin LGX3 with a set of Seymour Duncan Duckbuckers through a Canadian made Traynor amp. I'm listening to a lot of Indy music right now but my love is classic rock. Any band that has a great guitar player. I have two favorite concerts of all time. First was Big Wreck with Nicole at Hamilton Place Studio. Their sound and vocals were perfect. Second was RUSH with Dallin at HSBC in Buffalo. I have never been seated so close to a wall of sub woofers in my life! I love corn on the cob with a cold beer on a hot summer afternoon.

Rhythm Section : Adrian and Graham
